The Ability to Choose

...The only factual freedom one has in life is the ability to choose. In life you come across many defining moments, to have someone else make one of these fundamental decision for you; a decision which has nothing to do with them, but only with you is the definition of incarceration . Pro-choice hits the aforementioned statement at its most fitting and philosophical core, the right for a woman to choose what’s right for her body is her decision and hers alone. Pro- life disregards this modern inevitability of instinctual desire to make decisions regarding one’s own well being. Since the beginning of time man has always had a choice and whenever man makes that choice they always take some things into consideration. Will the decision I make effect others and if it doesn’t, than the choice one makes is predicated on how the decision will benefit the chooser. Pro-life tells a woman what to do with their own body. I am putting an emphasizes on the word “own” because that’s who needs to be making the choice, not some 60-year-old MALE senator, who knows absolutely nothing about child-birth or carrying a fetus around for nine months! In addition to this, in order for one to completely be for or against a certain subject matter they must understand the rebuttal. Those that are Pro-life will perpetually argue, “Who will be the voice of the unborn?” and/or “Who gave you the right to decide who lives and who dies?” Both of these points are beyond convincing, they do have some......

Creative Ability

...Improving Creative Ability lab. After reading chapter five I have decided that I have 3 strengths from the 12 techniques for improving creative ability and they are keeping your sense of humor, engaging in creative hobbies, and Keeping track of your ideas. Having a good sense of humor has always helped me out during very stressful situations in either school or in real life and I would say this is my biggest strength for improving my creative ability. Playing Xbox is probably the most frequent creative ability I do and I also believe it helps me think of ideas for projects and assignments, engaging in this creative hobby I would also say would be the most stimulating hobby I could do for keeping my mind active and thinking of ideas. Keeping track of my ideas is a great strength of mine, I can always get great ideas at the worst time but since my phone has audio record I can always keep track of them know matter what, even if it’s in the middle of the night or I’m driving I will always have my original ideas. With keeping my sense of humor during a strenuous situation In school or work I just like to either repeat the question with a weird funny accent or just silly/dirty humor (that’s what she said) and as it says in the chapter it relaxes me and gives me more confidence in answering the question correctly and in a creative way. When I’m stuck on a question or just having writers block I know that my mind is just clouded and stressed with worries, so when I start......

The American Institute of Public Accountants defines accounting as “The art of recording, classifying, and summarizing in a significant manner and in te rms of money, transactions and events which are, in part at least, of financial character, and interpreting the results thereof (Wikipedia.org 2010)”. In other words, accounting is basically about keeping track of the money, and is what businesses use to monitor their income, expenses, and assets over a period of time. By developing personal skills and increasing professional knowledge, I am more likely to accomplish a variety of tasks and goals. These skills and knowledge are a defining factor for professional career success. Success is the result of working towards a well-defined goal. This requires drive and commitment. Knowledge is the key to opening the door to a particular job or career path. Most employers now require a minimum education level for many entry-level positions. College education has become the standard for many jobs, even for many positions that did not require degrees in the past. Me being in the military have found that people, who have a degree, or some sort of professional certification, have an advantage over those who do not have one. Another reason education is important, is that for people to be competitive, they must continue to achieve higher levels of education and skills, but in addition to professional skill on the job training/job experience is also an important part. With the rapid growth of industry it’s becoming very important to keep pace for each individual. Most professions will require continuous instruction and retraining. Ability to Delegate

...Ability to Delegate Finessing your brand vision is essential to creating an organized and efficient business, but if you don’t learn to trust your team with that vision, you might never progress to the next stage. Its important to remember that trusting your team with your idea is a sign of strength, not weakness. Delegating tasks to the appropriate departments is one of the most important skills you can develop as your business grows. The emails and tasks will begin to pile up, and the more you stretch yourself thin, the lower the quality of your work will become, and the less you will produce. The key to delegation is identifying the strengths of your team, and capitalizing on them. Find out what each team member enjoys doing most. Chances are if they find that task more enjoyable, they will likely put more thought and effort behind it. This will not only prove to your team that you trust and believe in them, but will also free up your time to focus on the higher level tasks, that should not be delegated. It’s a fine balance, but one that will have a huge impact on the productivity of your business. Communication Knowing what you want accomplished may seem clear in your head, but if you try to explain it to someone else and are met with a blank expression, you know there is a problem. If this has been your experience, then you may want to focus on honing your communication skills. Being able to clearly and succinctly describe what you want done is extremely important.......
