INTRODUCTION

The focus for the strategic management will cater to Starbucks Corporation in engaging to appropriate information and research ways as the corporation had began in the year 1971 when the academics English teacher , history teacher and writer opened a store called Starbucks Coffee, Tea and Spice in the touristy Pikes Place Market in Seattle. Thus, there is a need to understand the market and industry processes of Starbucks and must be able to integrate valid and reliable SWOT analysis so as to determine future strategies for business development and growth in the global market.

SWOT ANALYSIS

Starbucks Corporation is a specialty coffee retailer, producing and selling a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, as well as pastries and confections, through 8500 coffee shops across 32 countries worldwide. The company recorded an increase in revenues and profits. It faces the threat of reduction in margins due to rising dairy costs.

...I am extremely happy and surprised about the results I received on the personality quiz. The first career that came up on the interest profiler was Medical Assistant. The next were a Social & Human Service Assistants, Pharmacy technicians, registered nurses, secretaries and administrative Assistant. Most of everything that was listed was what I was looking into. I was looking into going to school for Social & Human Services at Penn State but I changed my mind quickly because that wasn’t exactly what I wanted to do with my life. I was looking at a Pharmacy Technician but that wasn’t exactly in my mind field either. I was stuck on Medical Assistant but couldn’t find a school that allowed me to do the classes online while I could work and attend my clinical at a hospital or wherever they are held. Since I do want to be a pediatrician later down the road I know I am in the correct career filed to obtain that career.
