Forming successful teams can become a challenge. It’s a challenge because you have to get all the right people in one group. A bad apple can spoil the whole group. Team Building plays an important role in the workplace. Some team building experiences are successful and some are unsuccessful. Team building incorporates team work. Team work is when employees put aside their personal goals and preferences and work together cooperatively to achieve the team’s goal. Team Building also forms friendships and trust between employees. When the team is on the same page, everything runs smoothly. The steps a team leader takes to select workable teammates for a project can be challenging and frustrating task. Leaders should follow the four steps to create an effective team building: 1. Online Websites

...MODULE - 1 BUSINESS MODEL IDENTIFIED BUSINESS TO CUSTOMER The B2C model focuses on direct selling and marketing between a business and a consumer via an e-commerce website. A lower purchase volume of higher priced products typically characterizes B2C companies. Since the model depends on individual transactions and eliminates the wholesale purchaser, the company can make a higher profit while the consumer spends the same amount of money or sometimes less. B2C is effective for smaller companies since individual consumers are not as concerned with company recognition as they are with getting the product for the best price. TYPES B2C companies divide into five major categories: direct sellers, online intermediaries, advertising-based models, community-based models and fee-based models. Each type is so different from the others that they are not directly comparable. In fact, some B2C businesses utilize more than one type to reach different audiences. DIRECT SELLERS Direct sellers, such as online retailers, sell a product or service directly to the customer via a website. You can further divide direct sellers into e-tailers and manufacturers. E-tailers are electronic retailers that either ship products from their own warehouses or trigger deliveries from other companies stocks. Product manufacturers use the Internet as a catalog and sales channel to eliminate intermediaries. ONLINE INTERMEDIARIES Online intermediaries perform the same function as any other broker. The......

This has made it quite imperative for contracting parties to analyse project delays for purposes of making right decisions on potential time and/or cost compensation claims. Over the years, existing delay analysis techniques (DATs) for aiding this decision-making have been helpful but have not succeeded in curbing the high incidence of disputes associated with delay claims resolutions. A major source of the disputes lies with the limitations and capabilities of the techniques in their practical use. Developing a good knowledge of these aspects of the techniques is of paramount importance in understanding the real problematic issues involved and their improvement needs. This paper seeks to develop such knowledge and understanding (as part of a wider research work) via: an evaluation of the most common DATs based on a case......

...Term Paper Website Migration CIS University 09/07/15 Tony’s Chips has recently been sold to a new independent company. The new company has hired me to manage a project that will move the old Website from an externally hosted solution to an internal one. The company’s leadership is very concerned about redundancy for their site, insisting that a back-up site be available as a failover in case the main site goes down. Therefore, the site will be redesigned so that customers will be able to place orders through the website and have them delivered as before. The design of the new system will be able to provide more data storage, faster retrieval, better security features and recovery solutions in the event that the website has any problems. With the operational reliability of the existing system, this will make it easier to improve the new system. The first part of the project goal is to discuss what it will take to build the web architecture, then what will have to be done to move the existing Website with minimal downtime, and then provide a disaster recovery plan in the event that the website should crash or stop working. In order to build the architecture, migrate the existing website along with adding the ability for the customers to place orders online and providing for redundancy of the site the system development life cycle (SDLC) will be used.
