We believe that there is a segment of the population that would like to be able to purchase a premium cup of coffee and other coffee products quickly and easily without having to take time to patron a store or navigate a parking lot. Our mission is to provide a premium product efficiently and at a bargain price to consumers in a drive-thru structure with easy in/out access and to grow profitably to offer more locations for underserved consumers.
Assess the company’s strengths and weaknesses
The size and structure of the business will enable faster service and the lower overhead will enable lower prices than the competitors. Ease of access and expedited service mean that customers can receive friendly, fast service and be one their way with their busy day. Due to limited structure size the variety of products offered would be limited to coffee and coffee specialty drinks and a limited menu of baked goods. Start up funding for this business is personally available without having to obtain loans saving on interest costs.
Scan the environment for significant opportunities and threats facing the business
Observations of the area conclude that there are no other businesses similar that would offer similar products. The traffic leaving this area on their morning and evening commute is increasing as this is one of the fastest growing communities in the state. Threats to the business would be others who open similar kiosks to compete.
Identify the key factors for success in the business
Communications with local consumers indicate that this would be a welcomed addition to the community as they now have to leave early to be able to stop at one of the shops that are off the main throughway to make their purchases and wait in long lines.
