As an early childhood provider it is very important for me to maintain a commitment to professionalism.

TheTwice per year there are conference times set up for the parents to meet with teachers regarding to the progress of their child and what we will be working on for the remainder of the year. The parents are encouraged to attend one or both of these. If the parents have questions or concerns, they are encouraged to ask at anytime, whether it is daily or at the time of the conferences. Also if a parent would like to have a consultation before or after the arranged times, they are encouraged to seek this To maintain a commitment to professionalism dedication is the key to success. I dedicate myself to my job by going online to research what I will put in my lesson plans such as arts & crafts, songs and sensory projects. Most of the time I bring work home with me to finish last minute projects that I like to display on my boards. This includes printing out an activity descriptor and pictures that go with the art work the infant/toddler has done. I also like to take a lot of pictures of what we are doing in the classroom especially showing the infants and toddler working on art projects to have it displayed on my board.
Every week I work on a lesson plan and newsletter. My lesson plan has a break down of what we are going to do for each day. It will show what we will learn in circle time and what kind of art project we will be doing that day. Every week is a different theme so that is also incorporated in my lesson plan. The newsletter is sent out once a week to the parents to let them know what we did that week and what they have to look forward to the following week. I believe that the parents should be communicated to as much as possible.
I’m always trying to get new ideas by going on the internet or researching books to make my classroom the…...

Income Statement vs Cashflow Statement

...Question #6 A. Briefly state how the Income Statement is different from the Cash Flow Statement. Give examples of decisions that can be made from the information provided by each of these statements? -The income statement shows how much revenue a company has earned over a period of time, which is usually for a year. The income statement also reports the costs and expenses associated with earning the revenue. At the bottom of the income statement it shows the net inome, which shows the actual earnings after expenses, taxes, etc are taken out. This can be a net profit or net loss, depending on how the company performed that year. The cash flow statement reports a company’s inflows and outflows of cash. The income statement tells whether or not the company made a profit and the statement of cash flows tells you whether the company generated cash. The statement of cash flows is the more important of the two because with negative cash flows it makes it nearly impossible to pay off your debt. It is possible to have a positive net income, with negative cash flows. -A manager can use the income statement to analyze how much revenue is being lost due to expenses. Expenses are necessary in every business, but there are ways to manage them to save money. It also allows management and investors to decide if the company wants to expand into different markets or create new products. If they see sales are consistently increasing year over year, then it may be a good time...

Chapter 6 Internal Control in a Financial Statement Audit

...CHAPTER 6 INTERNAL CONTROL IN A FINANCIAL STATEMENT AUDIT Answers to Review Questions 6-1 From management's perspective, the internal control provides a way to meet its stewardship or agency responsibilities. Management also needs a control system that generates reliable information for decision-making purposes. The importance of internal control to the auditor is rooted in the second standard of fieldwork. The controls that are relevant to the entity's ability to initiate, record, process, and report financial data consistent with management's assertions are the auditor's main concern. The auditor needs assurances about the reliability of the data generated within the entity's internal control system in terms of how it affects the fairness of the financial statements and how well the assets and records of the entity are safeguarded. 6-2 The potential benefits and risks to an entity’s internal control from information technology include (see Table 6-1): Benefits: • Consistent application of predefined business rules and performance of complex calculations in processing large volumes of transactions or data. • Enhancement of the timeliness, availability, and accuracy of information. • Facilitation of additional analysis of information. • Enhancement of the ability to monitor the performance of the entity's activities and its policies and procedures. • Reduction in the risk that controls will be circumvented. ...
