1. What is diversity? Why is diversity valued?.

Diversity is the condition of having or being composed of differing elements, variety, especially the inclusion of different types of people (as people of different races or cultures) in a group or organization. (http://www.merriam-webster.com ) I think diversity is valued because it gives everyone the opportunity to being themselves and create groups or organizations to be with others who share the same interest. Diversity can create new ideas and changes that can be beneficial to a society, or even the world. Diversity is valued, because it has given our country its own unique strengths and flexibilities.

The most important thing that researchers have not addressed in their studies is the fact that despite all the situational factors, social factors, cultural factors as well as pscychological issues that influence consumer buying behavior, Consumers will always be influenced by their inner feelings of how they percieve certain products and service. Also their wants and needs will always persuade them in deciding what to purchase. Researchers have not addressed the fact that even the advertising management in the company can also influence consumer’s buying decision not necessarily the social, cutual, psychological and situational factors that can affect consumer’s decision in purchasing goods and services.
