They showed their support for a developer's plan to build affordable housing near the theme-park, which Disney opposed. Statistics show that housing was very high priced around the theme-park, and with the minimal wages the employees were making, they were unlikely to even be able to afford a one-bedroom apartment. Walt Disney is a huge company known for entertainment and hosting many tourists’ areas. SunCal is a local developer in the Anaheim area.
