THEY THINK OUR LOVE IS JUST A
GROWIN’ PAIN,
WHY DON’T THEY UNDERSTAND IT’S
JUST A CRYIN’ SHAME
THEIR LIPS ARE LYIN’ ONLY REAL IS

GREASE IS THE TIME, IS THE PLACE, IS
THE MOTION
AND GREASE IS THE WAY WE ARE
FEELIN’
WE TAKE THE PRESSURE AND WE
THROW AWAY
CONVENTIONALITY BELONGS TO
YESTERDAY
THERE IS A CHANCE THAT WE CAN
MAKE IT SO FAR
WE START BELIEVIN’ NOW THAT WE CAN
BE WHO WE ARE

The addition of soap, however, results in the removal of the grease. Examine the following structure of soap and explain why soap works. Water and grease (or oil) do not mix because water is made up of polar molecules while oil is non-polar. The water molecules are attracted to other water molecules and others that are polar and push away the non-polar in a manner that they clump together. It’s referring to the charge on the molecule, one side of the water molecule is positive while the other is negative. Like draws to like. Detergents and soaps often work as an emulsifier that allows two usually non-mixable items to mix together. The soap allows the water and grease to mix and cling together and easily washed away. They lower the surface tension of the water allowing the two to mix and the water and grease to attach to one another as the water is washed through the grease. Cleaners may also include an agent in its mixture to degrade the mixture....

Diesel

...diesel engines, fuel pumps and fuel injectors are lubricated by the fuel, so lubricity is a measure of a diesel fuel's ability to prevent wear in these parts. You can run strait grease through your car but it also has to be cleaned not by chemicals but through micron filters. You also have to heat the grease up enough to become viscous enough to be pushed through the injectors at the correct pressure and spray pattern for the vehicle. It’s a very complicated process to create fuel for diesel because you have to get the mixture just right so the vehicle can run smooth. Here’s the fun part, the used cooking grease that are in millions of restaurants like Chinese restaurants, fast food joints etc; are yours to have so you can convert the stuff into renewable energy. Restaurants will literally give you the grease without questions because they themselves are trying to get rid of the stuff and are desperate to do so. In conclusion even though diesel has its weak points, so does gas. Diesel cars can be converted to use vegetable oil gas cars cannot. Instead of smelling gas in the morning when you start your car you will smell French fries in the morning. Every time you arrive at the pump you have to pay 20 bucks to fill your tank. But at restaurants, fast foods, Chinese restaurants, they have tons of grease that they are willing to give away they don’t want the stuff you can use that to make the fuel to use for your diesel car. You’re not harming the environment and you’re......

...of the situation, and he sent one of his men to work on the stove. About three weeks prior to the fire Mrs. Zang received a shock from the left rear burner. She also informed the owner about this issue and he sent a man to work on it. The day of the fire Mrs. Zang left a pan filled with cooking oil on the stove in preparation for dinner. After checking to ensure the stove was off, she left to pick up her husband from work. They returned about 30-45 minutes later to find their kitchen on fire. The trial judge found that Mrs. Zang left grease on a burner that was not on and due to the faulty workings of the stove it caught ignited. ISSUES: The owner-lessor and the lessee seek to recover from each other property damage as a result of a fire at the residence. HOLDING: The court ruled that the owner was responsible for the appliance, not the tenant. The trial judge found that Mrs. Zang left grease on a burner that was not on and the grease probably ignited due to faulty problems with the stove, which was the responsibility of the owner, and Mrs. Zang was free of negligence. The evidence supports these findings. RATIONALE: The owner of the residence is responsible for everything concerning the residence. I f anything goes wrong it is their responsibility to fix the problem. The appellant contend that the fire was the cause of the negligence of the tenant. The court found that the appliance was the owner responsibility, and any issues were also the owner’s......

Early Elbow Grease

...INTRODUCTION “Success is like a vitamin. Everyone needs some of it. When you don’t have enough success, it’s hard to feel very good about who we are, especially when other people around you seem to be having plenty of success.”(Levine1990). Genuine, lasting success is never been an accident. It is the result of personal character. Winners always have a sense of mission. They know where they are headed and have figured out how to get there. They are focused. They plan their work and work their plan. They realize that time is more valuable than money. They work smarter, not harder. High achievers usually have one obvious thing in common: personal discipline. Successful people are willing to do things that average people are unwilling to do. The researcher wants to give attention and signify that these high school student workers were venerated by their much appreciated sacrifices. For some reasons, this study would lend a hand to these young individuals if ever be read by the higher authorities or the government. Moreover, study is made to reach out and unlock possibilities to student workers, in which if given an opportunity to study and be given attention in the society will become successful. Thus, they can have even more than what they have now. These young individuals were forced to work so they can able to uphold with the intention to study and reach their goals. Impact of Fast Food on Society

...sandwiches. One thing that is on the agenda of McDonald’s is putting apples in Happy Meals for young children instead of French fries which would promote healthier eating at a young age. Wendy’s has been the most innovative in the way they can offer healthy alternatives. At every fast food restaurant that you go to, it is standard to get fries as your side with a value meal. Wendy’s thought outside of the box, and came up with the idea to pick your own side which have healthier alternatives to fries. Some of the choices that you have to choose from are Wendy’s Chili, Side Salad, Chicken Caesar Salad, mandarin with oranges, and yogurt with granola. These give customers alternatives to French fries, which are high in fat, calories, and grease. One other thing that Wendy’s has to offer in regards to healthy alternatives is their Garden Sensations Salads. Subway has always promoted healthier eating with their Jared Fogle commercials and low fat subs. Subway has a menu of subs that are 6 grams of fat or less. They also have a carb-conscious menu and low-fat alternative condiments to put on your sub. They also have a lot of different types of vegetables to put on your sub as well. Subway has been the benchmark for healthy eating and that is what they advertise about as an advantage over the traditional fast food restaurants. Almost everything they promote has to deal with healthier eating. With fast food restaurants making strides in offering more healthy......

Grease Analysis

...explode. Grease, generally considered a trivial little musical about The Fabulous Fifties, is really the story of America’s tumultuous crossing over from the 50s to the 60s, throwing over repression and tradition for freedom and adventure (and a generous helping of cultural chaos), a time when the styles and culture of the disengaged and disenfranchised became overpowering symbols of teenage power and autonomy. Originally a rowdy, dangerous, over-sexed, and insightful piece of alternative theatre, Grease was inspired by the rule-busting success of Hair and shows like it, rejecting the trappings of other Broadway musicals for a more authentic, more visceral, more radical theatre experience that revealed great cultural truths about America. An experience largely forgotten by most productions of the show today. Like Hair before it and The Rocky Horror Show which would come a year later, Grease is a show about repression versus freedom in American sexuality, about the clumsy, tentative, but clearly emerging sexual freedom of the late 1950s, seen through the lens of the middle of the Sexual Revolution in the 1970s. It’s about the near carnal passion 1950s teenagers felt for their rock and roll, the first art form that actually changed human sexuality. (The phrase rock and roll was originally African American urban slang for sexual intercourse, going as far back as the 1920s, and it made its way onto many rhythm and blues recordings before the 1950s.) As theatre, Grease finds......

Blood Sweat and Tears or Just a Little Elbow Grease?

...Blood, Sweat, and Tears or Just a Little Elbow Grease? Abstract While many complain about the ill effects of unemployment, little is being done to prevent it from occurring in the future. This paper uses research from several employment training programs to help investigate what can be done to prevent teenagers and young adults from behaving unprofessionally in early jobs which could result in lack of desire to hire them in the future. Many of these studies have shown that a great deal of the issues that arise in employees are due to a lack of respect and a bad attitude. This paper proposes a set of courses be provided in the community to help better prepare teenagers and young adults for the workplace by teaching not only basic work skills but social skills as well. Blood, Sweat, and Tears or Just Little Elbow Grease? Bob gathers his courage and takes a deep breath. This is the big “make-it or break-it” moment. He walks up to the lady he has been nervous about meeting for weeks. They talk, he leaves his number, and they part ways. Weeks later, Bob is still waiting to hear back from her, wondering where he went wrong. Little does Bob know, the biggest mistake he made happened years ago. Bob was not asking a girl out on a date; he was applying for a job. Unemployment is a growing issue in America today, and unfortunately, one big reason for not being hired is past performance in previous jobs. With classes that specialize in training high school and college students......

...Growing up you would find me playing football in the field or playing in the streets, but never in the kitchen. In grade school I took Home Economics where my teacher tried to teach me to cook. There I learned a few but I never learned to fry chicken. I have tried different methods of cooking. I’ve boiled, grilled, roasted, and pan-fried. However, frying with grease seems to be my problem. Either the grease is too hot or not hot enough. The chicken is either overcooked or undone. There is no winning with me versus cooking with grease. After hanging out with a few friends I noticed that they had a special fryer and he passed off a couple of pointers. Part of my “not knowing to fry chicken” comes from me being afraid of the popping grease. Starting off I’ll be buying a fryer. I figure with the purchase of a fryer it would make the job much easier, which is wanted in my favor. Next my buddy asked me how I warm my grease. Apparently I wasn’t allowing my grease to get hot enough before I dropped chicken in and once dropped I cooked it too fast. “Simple solution,” he told me. “Lower your temperature on the burner.” Later sometime down the line I had been invited to a kickback. The host of the party gave strict details of whom they wanted to bring what to the party. He told me to bring some chicken. Immediately I began to think I’ll just go buy some from Alberson’s or something then I thought about my new fryer and the tips I had learned. The chicken was a SUCCESS!......
