Team Building and Conflict Resolution Proactive Planning

As your manager this meeting was necessary to facilitate self directed high performance teams within the organization. By having these teams this would benefit the company’s production as well as give the organization a team environment. According to Bodwell, by building high performance teams within a company it increases hopes for an accurate, swift, and agile organizations (Bodwell, n.d).
There are huge benefits by having teams within the organization. The first benefit would be that the projects that an individual would do is slower because by working just individually the work is slowed and the project does not get done on a timely basis. Looking at the team perspective it would be noted that the benefit of having a team would be the projects would get done faster and the productivity increases. With this increase one can see that the projects can get delivered to our stores for sales and revenue. When the production increases then the revenue increases.
By having a well planned organization with teams this means that we would have to train our individuals so that they would know how to work in teams efficiently. The following steps according to Wynn Solutions training module just to pick a few steps on how to train the team so that they will be effective to the company (Wynn Solutions, n.d).
1. Teaching them how to communicate is essential for maintaining a good team.
2. Respecting each other
3. Building Rapport with one another
These were just a few steps on how to train to understand how to efficiently work within a group. There are some other ways as well but these were just the few that are basically important in bringing a group together. However, looking at another view on training individuals is to introduce them to the Bruce Tuckman theory.…...
