...individuals learn best by looking at illustrations or watching videos. The next style is the auditory; these individuals learn better by being part of a discussion group or lecture. The reading/writing learners learn best by reading textbooks or taking notes. The last style is the kinesthetic learner; these individuals learn best by doing things, hands on. To enhance the quality of learning, individuals need to be aware of their style of learning. Summary of my Styles of Learning While some individuals rely on only one type of learning style, most learn through the combination of two or more. According to Fleming, in his article VARK: A Review of Those Who Are Multimodal, he reports that “multimodal preference dominated the VARK questonaire database for all populations” (VARK) After taking the Vark questionnaire, the reading/writing style along with the visual were identified as my preferred way of learning. The reading/writing style includes the use of notes, manuals, textbooks, handbooks to intake information. Some study strategies recommended for this method of learning by the VARK model is to write words multiple times, to format content given into words and to read notes several times. The visual type of learning is the one that learns best by seeing the information in flow charts, slides and graphs. MEASURING JOB SATISFACTION Volume 3, Issue 4 / December 2011 Management Research and Practice Usualy job satisfaction is measured by using general scientific research methods such as the questonaire. Some of the most commonly used techniques for measuring job satisfaction include: Minnesota satisfaction questonaire and Job description index The Minnesota Satisfaction Questonaire is a paper-pencil type of a questonaire and can be implemented both individualy and in group, but it does not take sex differences into consideration. This questonaire has one short form and two long forms that date from 1967 and 1977. In fact 20 work features in five levels are measured with this questonaire. Responding to this questonaire usually takes between 15-20 minutes. The 1967 version of the Minessota Satisfaction Questonaire uses the folowing response categories: Not satisfied, Somewhat satisfied, Satisfied, Very satisfied and Extremely satisfied. The 1977 version of the Minessota Satisfaction Questonaire uses the folowing response categories: Very satisfied, Satisfied, Neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, Dissatisfied and Very dissatisfied. If compared its obvious that in a way the 1977 version of this questonaire is more balanced compared to the 1967 version.
