CASE STUDY REPORT FORMAT GUIDELINE

Following is a suggested guideline for preparing your case study reports (remember to always use Harvard Business Style for all formatting and referencing as per the course outline):

Cover Page
(Include student names and student Ids)

Executive Summary
(If appropriate – should be written last to focus on key points/findings)

Introduction
Current Situation Analysis and pertinent Background including a synopsis of the relevant information from the case analysis tool short form.

Body
May include:
• Target Market Identification
• Market Needs
• Forms of IMC in use
• Analysis of Case
• Key Issues/Goals
• Recommendations
Should include:
• Decision Criteria
• Assumptions
• Data Analysis (analysis in appendix and summary info in body)
• Preferred Alternative with rationale.
• Justification/Predicted Outcome:
It is important that all guesstimates or creative ideas be founded upon some marketing rationale and a solid understanding of the metrics related to the target market and anticipated financial changes/impact. Using target market analysis and education estimation of population, $, and units is appropriate.
If you are not confident in your ability to do so…PLEASE FEEL FREE TO DISCUSS “HOW TO” as a team with the professor well in advance of your case presentation.
Conclusion
References
Recommend that you source business journals, periodicals, and textual references as well as any online research. Make sure you support your ideas with facts and figures. Please try to use your own words and ideas based on research rather than copy and paste other’s words from the internet. You should USE PROPER HARVARD style in-line citations, image source citations, and an alphabetical CITATION LIST in a references section.
Appendices
All charts, financials, visuals, and other related items can be placed here and…...

...differentiation of self. The second line of research focused on testing other variables that should relate to differentiation of self as a way of further elaborating Bowen theory. Based on Bowen’s theory and in previous research, researchers hypothesized that emotional support would mediate the relationship between differentiation of self and psychological distress. This indicates that one way in which differentiation influences psychological adjustment is related to how individuals of different levels of differentiation manage relationships. According to Krycak, R.C., Marszalek, J. M. and Murdock, M. L., (2012) researchers were also interested in the role that stress would play in this relationship; the researchers used path analysis to test the relationships among differentiation, stress, emotional support, and psychological distress. The studies that show that differentiation of self mediates the relationship were somewhat difficult to understand as compared to the studies that found that differentiation of self changes the relationship between stress and distress. Summary and Critique of Methods The researchers in this study used a quantitative approach. Based on the relationship among the independent and dependent variables in the study the quantitative approach is appropriate and justified. The dependent variable being examined is psychological distress and the independent variables are stress, emotional support, and differentiation of self from the family of......

...workers to hand washing and hand hygiene resulting in high rate of hospital acquired infection (de Almeida , Borges, Rocha, Jose Nunes, & Gontijo . 2012). Compliance to hand washing and hand hygiene of four units in a hospital, the compliance rate was 40% before the implementation of the program, with high rate of nosocomial infection. After implementing the program, which is use of hand washing posters all over the units, supply of alcohol based sanitizer to each patient room, the compliance rate increase to 70% and the infection rate decrease by 13% from 4%. The study was done under 12 months, two trained observer observe HCWs during patient care in both the morning and afternoon shift (de Almeida et al. 2012). Chi-square tests or Fisher’s exact test and McNemar were use for result analysis. This article support the fact that HCWs hand washing and hand hygiene compliance will reduce the rate of nosocomial infection. Article#4, The study sought how hand hygiene and clean environment can control an outbreak of nosocomial or hospital acquired pneumonia. Pediatrics patient use for the study are 453 in the course of 8 months period, and out of 28 cases of pneumonia, PVL cont contribute to 17 of them (61%), The mortality of this pneumonia that is related to PVL 88% higher than pneumonia that is not PVL related is 9% ( Ahoyo et el2012). The preventive measure to control the spread of PVL in hospital is combination of decontamination of the environment which includes......

...solver in Prolog, you can assume a passing acquaintance with numerical methods and with Prolog. To a considerable extent, the choice of audience is up to you. But once you have made it, stick with it — unless there is a good reason to do otherwise, write all parts of your paper for the same audience. If you have a hard time visualizing the audience, try writing a paper that you would have understood if someone had given it to you a month ago, before you started researching the topic. The topic of a paper is often expressed in the first sentence. To quote from some classic UGa ACMC research reports: “This paper presents a formalism and an n2 -time parsing algorithm for unification-based dependency grammars” (M. Covington, 01-0022). 3 “Our tests show that the current CYBERPLUS is not an appropriate machine on which to implement Prolog or similar logic programming languages” (R. E. Stearns and M. Covington, 010019). The reflects a general principle: get to the point early. State your conclusions at the beginning, and then state the reasoning that leads up to them. Never leave the reader wondering where you are heading with an idea. Outline the whole paper before you write it. If you find this difficult, make an unordered list or collection of ideas you want to include, and then sort it. The first paragraph of a paper is the hardest to write, and it’s a good idea to try writing it — or at least sketching it — long before you write the rest of the paper. Often, once you compose the......

...that contribute the most to crimes and address several conceptions and misconceptions about the leading causes of property crimes in the U.S. Questions the study will attempt to answer include: 1. Are crimes rates higher in urban than rural areas? 2. Does unemployment or education level contribute to property crime rates? 3. Does public assistance contribute to property crime rates? 4. What other factors relate to property crimes? Lastly, the research is going to examine the cause property crime based on the income, dropout, precipitation, public aid recipients, density, kids, unemployment, urban area and state. Analysis and Methods Minitab, a statistical analysis program, was used to analyze the collected data and test various factors. Crime was chosen as the dependent variable and the possible contributing factors were chosen as the independent variables (stated below). It is important to note the variable STATE was not used during data analysis as it skewed the data output. This variable is best used as a grouping variable and is not pertinent to this study. Regression Analysis: CRIMES_1 versus PINCOME, DROPOUT, PUBAID, DENSITY, KIDS, PRECIP, UNEMPLOY and URBAN. The regression equation is as follows: ------------------------------------------------- The regression equation is: ------------------------------------------------- CRIMES = - 643 – 0.0183 PINCOME + 81.3 DROPOUT – 114 PUBAID – 1.98......
