Journey Ti the Interior

...“Journey To The Interior” portrays Atwood’s attitude on inner journey to discover oneself. She presents a metaphorical journey to explain a journey into the mind. She examines human behavior’s reasons, understanding one self’s mystery, lack of knowledge of individuals about themselves. Atwood has composed a metaphysical journey contrasting the similarities and differences. Her fascination with the bizarre fluidity of identity and its mystery is the focus of thy poem. The first paragraph establishes the similarities between physical and metaphysical journey. The usage of the personal pronoun ‘I’ in this introductory paragraph establishes the personal experience of the poet as it is her who undertakes the physical journey in the poem’s case an awful; bush walk. The poem starts off with a factual matter of fact in bush. The pairing knife and white mushrooms suggest the distraction that little experiences can cause and sidetrack the undertaker from their journey to the interior. The usage of parenthesis with the rhetorical questions (have I been walking in circles again?) reflects the composer’s and the getting lost easily in this metaphorical journey. The usage of the word danger and many and the phrase but only some have returned safely signifies the composer’s belief that everyone has been on this journey but some have never returned implying that the psychological state of some people becomes deficient and their normalcy is diminished as they go berserk on this......

Tis Pity She's a Whore - Fatherly Figures

...How does John Ford present the ‘fatherly figures’ in the opening Act of ‘Tis Pity She’s a whore? Consider the Friar, Florio and Donado. In the opening Act the theme of fatherly figures is distinctive. The Friar, a religious character shows fatherly nature towards Giovanni in the opening act. Friar feels a real compassion towards Giovanni and the love he has for his sister even though he doesn’t agree with it. ‘Yes, you may love, fair son’. The word ‘son’ exclusively implies that the Friar see’s Giovanni like a son. The word ‘love’ is also significant. Ford has used this to show us that the Friar cares about Giovanni, he wants him to love but he knows that with Annabella it is not the right way. The Friar praises Giovanni: ‘behaviour, learning, speech,/ Sweetness’ suggesting that he thinks of Giovanni as a noble, intellectual man. However he goes on to say ‘hast thou left the schools/ Of knowledge, to converse with lust and death?’ The Friar sounds disappointed with Giovanni that he has turned to this act of incestuous ‘lust’ by being in love with his sister. Ford portrays Friar’s religion through this line. The Friar knows that incest is wrong from his religious point of view and therefore wants Giovanni to return to his love of knowledge and pursue intellect rather than lust. As E notes states ‘The story takes place against a background of lust, vengeance, and greed that serves as a critique of contemporary culture and morality’.(1) Ford uses the Friar to show that......

Marketing, What Is Ti Exactly?

...performance of business activities that direct the flow of goods and services from producer to consumer or user.” However, these definitions are both incomplete. For example, the American Marketing Association’s definition is still “production-oriented” as it starts with a product and talks about its flow from the producer to the consumer. Marketing thinking must start even before there is a product. It is concerned with identifying existing needs and then converting them into a product or service. Besides, even after the product has reached the consumer or user, the marketing effort does not necessarily come to an end. There is a question of follow-through to ensure that the customer gets maximum satisfaction out of his purchase. In case of some products, after-sales service is essential to keep the consumer satisfied and eager to buy again later from the same company. Besides, all these activities must result in profit or a difference between the output and input, i.e., a surplus. Again, in the Indian context, it is very essential that the efforts must be most productive and that an optimum use is made of the resources available to the organization. Thus marketing can be defined as- “the process of ascertaining consumer needs, converting them into a product or service, and then moving the product or service to the final consumer or user to satisfy such needs and wants of specific customer segment or segments with emphasis on profitability ensuring the......

Network diagram Install and Configure Virtual Center as a Virtual Machine One of the concerns when setting up these TeraStation 7120r NAS servers was fault recovery, backup and redundancy. This solution can be solved by installing VM ware and creating a manager that will take a snapshot every 12 hours. “VMware Server will run on any standard x86 hardware, including Intel and AMD hardware virtualization assisted systems. The host operating system can be Windows or Linux. The most important thing you should know about installing VMware server is that it will use significant amounts of your RAM.” In some cases the Virtual Center server will be installed as a Virtual Machine in the COC environments. Ti Turning

...demands of the worlds metal industry. Ti Scrap vs Ti Turning Titanium is a key Raw Material to Manufacture Ferro-Titanium 65-70% Grade. The capacity of Nimji Plant is to Manufacture 200 Tons/Month. At present we are Manufacturing on an average 40 Tons/Month as we don’t have orders and our competitors are selling FeTi much Cheaper. It is being observed that if we reduce the price by $0.1/kg we will be competitive in market. 160 Tons/ Month Of Capacity is being Un-utilized. This Un-utilized capacity which is an liability now can be a asset if the plant runs at maximum capacity. For the production of FeTi 65-70% grade, 70% of Ti is required. Hence to produce 200 Tons of FeTi 65-70% grade, we require 140 Tons of Titanium. At present we are using 50%Ti Scrap and 50% Ti Turnings. The cost of Ti turning and Ti scrap is Rs 190/kg and Rs 322/kg respectively. The Present Cost of Titanium in the production of 200 tons FeTi (65-70%) will be Rs 3,58,40,000. If we use only Ti Turning the cost of Titanium in the production of FeTi (65-70%) will be Rs 2,66,00,000. Thus if we use only Ti turning our Per Month saving will be Rs 92,40,000. Drawbacks of Ti Turning Titanium turning comes inherently with impurities such as oil, grease and dust. If these turning are used without processing, oil gets burned and is converted into carbon. Thus the Carbon in the final product increases to 5-7%, whereas the desired level of carbon is 0.1%. In order to use Ti turning, it must be......

...Wahiduddin Khan answers questions posed by students on the eve of their exams The pressure of studies together with the repeated questioning of my parents is stressful and I end up getting very depressed thinking of the consequences if I do not meet my parents’ expectations. Parents are always eager for their children’s success. But at the same time, they should be realists. Parents must limit themselves to doing wise counseling. It would be counterproductive if they constantly question their children and apply immense pressure on them. Parents must know that in practical life, getting less marks in exams is relative. Because, a student learns even if he gets less marks, and then in the next term, he tries to score better. This is the case in both education and practical life. There are many examples to prove this fact. For example, Mahatma Gandhi and Swami Vivekananda were not toppers in education, however, they became heroes in practical life. We are told that Boards are crucial for students, but the fear and uncertainty haunts me and has made me very apprehensive about the future. Some of my friends say that they’ll commit suicide if they don’t perform well. According to my experience, nothing is crucial in life. What is important in life is sincerity and determination. Parents must inculcate this spirit in their children. Qualifying an examination is good only for taking further admissions, and it is not necessary for having a better life in the future.......
