The title page, executive summary, table of contents, and reference pages are not included in these page limits. Appendices/Exhibits may be single-spaced. Note: The executive summary should be no longer than two pages, double-spaced. Important Note Regarding Using Content from the Preliminary Report The final report in comparison to the preliminary report should be a significantly improved and expanded piece of work both with respect to writing and content. However, it is understood that you are building on the content and writing of your preliminary report. As a result, you may wish to include some of this in your final report. Please use the following process to ensure you are not running the risk of plagiarizing: 1.  When you are drafting the final report use normal citation formatting for all sources, i.e. if you are copy-pasting from the preliminary report, treat it like any other quotation - indent if it's more than 40 words, use quotation marks otherwise. 2.  When you start polishing your final draft, if you find that the number of indented pieces make the report look unattractive/unprofessional then you should include the following footnote (attach the footnote to the title of your final report): “Significant portions of content for this assignment were taken from Authors (2011). New venture proposal.......

...Below is a free essay on "The Rental Heart Analysis" from Anti Essays, your source for free research papers, essays, and term paper examples. The Rental Heart Often, when you break-up with a partner, you get your heart broken. It happens to everyone, but in this text, instead of experiencing sadness and sorrow, you can just take your rental heart out, and by a new one when you meet a new partner. I consider the main character a boy, because if it was a girl, there would be a lot of drama and a lot of details of heartbrokenness when they break-up. The main character is bisexual; his first love was a boy, Jacob, and at that time he was a teenager, which is shown in the text, when he says: “And our love was going to last forever, which at our age meant six months.” When we are teenagers, our body is filled with hormones. We fall in love easily and often, and just as quickly as we fall in love, we fall out of it again. When the main character is with a guy named Will, they go on a holiday, they went through security and the main character beeps, he shows the security people his heart and is waved on, but Will doesn’t beep. It makes the main character sick that he doesn’t have a metal heart and his gut is filled with blood and flesh. The short story’s title is “The Rental Heart”. Short story’s titles have often not much to do with the rest of the text and often it is a bit hidden in the text, but in this case it is very easy to see why the author called it that: it’s...

...International Journal of Wireless & Mobile Networks (IJWMN) Vol. 4, No. 1, February 2012 Optimization of Energy Consumption for OLSR Routing Protocol in MANET Kirti Aniruddha Adoni1 and Radhika D. Joshi2 1 Modern College of Engineering, Shivaji Nagar, University of Pune, , India akirti2008@gmail.com, k_adoni@rediffmail.com 2 College of Engineering, University of Pune, India rdj.extc@coep.ac.in ABSTRACT Mobile Adhoc Network (MANET) eliminates the complexity associated with an infrastructure networks. Wireless devices are allowed to communicate on the fly for applications. It does not rely on base station to coordinate the flow of the nodes in the network. This paper introduces an algorithm of multipath OLSR (Optimized Link State Routing) for energy optimization of the nodes in the network. It is concluded that this solution improves the number of nodes alive by about 10 to 25% by always choosing energy optimized paths in the network with some increase in normalized routing overheads. KEYWORDS OLSR, multipath, Energy Optimization, Nodes Alive, Overheads 1. INTRODUCTION A Mobile Adhoc NETwork (MANET) is a multi-hop, distributed and self configuration network[1].The communication between two distant nodes is through the number of intermediate nodes which relays the information from one point to another. As nodes can move randomly within the network, routing packets between any pair of nodes become a challenging task. A route that is believed to be......

...Project Management Plan Horace Bethea, Nicole Brown, Eric Cornick, Robin Evans, and Kristi Longstreet CPMGT/301 November 19, 2012 Steven Chardon-Strunk Project Management Plan Because of strict accreditation regulations and laws related to Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 for institutions offering federal financial aid, an organization cannot offer traditional sales bonuses for employees who enroll students. Recently there has been a decline in employee morale. Senior management thinks that a new employee incentive program may boost employee morale (University of Phoenix, 2012, para. 3). This paper will include the work breakdown structure, activities, the sequenced activity diagram, a human resources plan, and a communication plan. The communication methods identified in the communication plan will be evaluated by identifying the communication tools and techniques most effective for the audience, and an explanation of why the methods of communication identified are most effective. The objective to this project management planning process is to successfully implement an employee incentive program within the university to boost employee morale that has declined because of the changes in compensation structure. Although the university cannot control what laws and regulations are changed governing federal financial aid, the university must abide by the changes to keep their accreditation. The university...

Title Ix Paper

...As Title IX approaches its 40th anniversary, its policies and impacts on both men’s and women’s sports is still greatly debated and argued. While it is proven fact that it was tremendously successful at providing women far greater opportunities both in sports and outside of sports, the topic of how it is negatively affecting men’s sport is often debated. The five articles that I gathered advocate for Title IX. They express its positive impacts through narrative accounts and personal experiences of well-known female athletes who prospered due to Title IX not just in sports, but in their educational and professional careers. They also disprove the myths commonly associated with Title IX that lack evidence about how it is responsible for negatively affecting men’s sport opportunities and potentially ruining the programs currently in existence. Title IX is generally associated with women’s opportunity in sports to the point where its other positive implications tend to be forgotten. Title IX isn’t just about providing an opportunity for women to participate in sports in high school and at the college level, it is about providing young women the skills needed to achieve greater successes later on in life. Pugmire’s (2013) article quotes Women’s basketball legend Anne Meyers Drysdale saying the following: “According to the Women's Sports Foundation, 80% of women in Fortune 500 companies played sports. It teaches you so much -- confidence, failure, success, courage, how to get......

... which may also be called "papers", are usually more formal than literary ones.[citation needed] They may still allow the presentation of the writer's own views, but this is done in a logical and factual manner, with the use of the first person often discouraged. Longer academic essays (often with a word limit of between 2,000 and 5,000 words)[citation needed] are often more discursive. They sometimes begin with a short summary analysis of what has previously been written on a topic, which is often called a literature review.[citation needed] Longer essays may also contain an introductory page in which words and phrases from the title are tightly defined. Most academic institutions[citation needed] will require that all substantial facts, quotations, and other porting material used in an essay be referenced in a bibliography or works cited page at the end of the text. This scholarly convention allows others (whether teachers or fellow scholars) to understand the basis of the facts and quotations used to support the essay's argument, and thereby help to evaluate to what extent the argument is supported by evidence, and to evaluate the quality of that evidence. The academic essay tests the student's ability to present their thoughts in an organized way and is designed to test their intellectual capabilities. One essay guide of a US university makes the distinction between research papers and discussion papers. The guide states that a "research paper is intended to uncover a......

Contents page which lists main sections to the left of the page and page numbers where these sections start on the right. Introduction that should make clear what the report is about and how you are organising the material to meet the requirements of the assignment i.e. your general approach. Main Body of the report You may need to divide the main body of the report into a number of sections, to make clear where you are moving from one topic to another. There should be a logical progression in the content from one section to another. You are not expected to number paragraphs but you should number sections, and have headings for these. Conclusions. These should give an overview, and come to a conclusion related to the question you were asked to answer. They should not just repeat what you have already said earlier in the report. Where you have been asked to make recommendations you might want to put these in a separate section. References/Bibliography References should be a list of the authors that you have referenced in the report, listed alphabetical by author. Look at the Napier NULIS website or any text book to see how to lay out references. While referencing journals that you just happen to have accessed electronically (e.g. through one of the electronic databases like Ingenta or Emerald) you can just reference the article as though you had read the paper version. However......

...Chapter 1 Financial Markets Financial markets perform two important functions. They transfer funds from savers into investments and they transfer title of ownership of existing securities from sellers to buyers. Financial markets and the transfer of savings Two basic methods exist for transferring funds from savers to users. First is direct investment when you start own business and invest your savings in the operation. A direct investment also occurs when securities are initially sold to investors in primary market. In the second markets, no funds are transferred and no new assets are created, there is only the transfer of ownership of an existing asset. The alternative to direct transfer of savings is an indirect transfer through a financial intermediary. You lend funds to the bank; the bank lends the funds to the ultimate borrower. The role of money Money: anything that is generally accepted as a means of payment. Liquidity: Ease of converting an asset into cash without loss, the depth of a financial market. Federal Reserve has the power to control the supply of money and to oversee the commercial banking system. Money supply: Total amount of money in circulation. 2 measures: M1: Sum of coins, currency, and demand deposits (checking account); M2: M1+saving accounts (70%), small certificates of deposits. The role of interest rates Interest is the cost of credit, the price paid for the use of someone else’s money. Generally, the longer the term of the......

Which of those reasons can be argued to arise from ecommerce? Reasons authors give to offer video CD sales to be distributed according to power law is that many brick and mortar stores simply do not have enough shelf space to display their titles. Online stores such as “Amazon.com” do not need to worry about shelf space due to the fact that they store their titles in large warehouses.
